Health Guarantee
Health Guarantee – Milo Monkeys Home
At Milo Monkeys Home, the health and well-being of every monkey in our care is our highest priority. We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of animal welfare by ensuring that all monkeys are raised in a clean, enriched, and socially supportive environment that reflects their natural needs. From birth, each monkey receives attentive care, proper nutrition, and continuous monitoring to support healthy physical and behavioral development.
Before any placement or transfer, every monkey undergoes a thorough veterinary evaluation performed by a qualified exotic animal veterinarian. This evaluation includes a full physical examination, assessment of developmental health, and screening for common primate illnesses. Only monkeys that meet strict health standards are considered for placement, and we do not compromise on these requirements under any circumstances.
We guarantee that, at the time of placement, each monkey is in good health to the best of our knowledge and veterinary assessment. Health records, including vaccination history (where applicable), dietary information, and any relevant medical observations, are provided to ensure transparency and continuity of care. We strongly encourage new caretakers to schedule an independent veterinary check-up shortly after placement to confirm the animal’s condition and to establish ongoing care with a qualified professional.
Because monkeys are highly sensitive, intelligent, and social animals, their health is closely tied to their environment, diet, and emotional well-being. For this reason, this guarantee is dependent on the continuation of proper care practices, including appropriate housing, nutrition, social interaction, and access to specialized veterinary services. We are available to provide guidance and support to help ensure a smooth transition and long-term well-being.
Milo Monkeys Home does not support neglect, improper handling, or uninformed ownership. We reserve the right to refuse placement if we believe the environment or level of care may not meet the needs of the animal. Our commitment extends beyond placement—we aim to promote responsible, ethical treatment and lifelong respect for these extraordinary primates.
